So for those of you that haven’t seen, the clubhouse at Shamba Holidays has been taken over by Matt and Lisa who run SO41 Catering.

Started in 2019 SO41 Catering is build of the back of over 30 years shared experience in the hospitality industry (we will profile both of them in the coming days).

The SO41 way is to deliver simplicity with excellence and they have been getting some great reviews so far

Let’s meet the team:

Matt and Lisa are the owners of SO41 Catering and have over 30 years combined hospitality experience

Matt has been cooking for over 20 years cutting his teeth (and fingers) in new forest hotels before working at Southampton Football Club. These led to working at major uk sporting events including the Ryder cup, the open golf and Wimbledon as well as sporting stadiums such as Wembley, Lords and Twickenham before becoming the executive head chef at JP Morgan in Bournemouth. When not in the kitchen you will most likely find him on the golf course or watching the kids play sport

Lisa started as a receptionist at a 4 star new forest hotel working her way up to manage the reception team and then onto sales team. She took time out when the kids where little before running a cleaning business before setting up SO41. When not working Lisa can be found on the side of a cricket or rugby pitch with the boys or out walking rolo the crazy sprocker spaniel
