Hoppy Easter at Paultons Park

5 April 2019 – 23 April 2019

Running every day at Paultons Park for 3 weeks over the holiday period is an opportunity to meet the theme park’s larger-than-life Easter characters. Bobtail Bunny, Betty Bunny, Hennie the Hedgehog and Red the Deer will all be making an appearance. Make sure to watch out for Fenton Fox – a mischievous fox who will be on the lookout for any Easter treats he can get his hands on!

With in excess of 70 rides and other attractions, a trip to Paultons Park will undoubtedly provide a fun-filled experience for all the family.

Easter Trail at Furzey Gardens

Located at the beautiful Furzey Gardens this simple Easter trail is aimed at younger children. Well worth a visit, just 17 minutes in a car from Shamba Holidays.

Easter Step Challenge 

Hurst Castle, Keyhaven
6 April 2019 – 22 April 2019

The Hurst Castle Easter Step Challenge provides the chance to keep active over Easter. Just a £1 entry fee is required which includes a pedometer. As an incentive to make it to the end the organisers are promising a tasty reward on completion. There’s also art & craft activities to get involved with inside the castle. Access to the castle is via a ferry service, which runs every 20 minutes from 10.15am.

Easter Fun and Flower Pots

Longdown Activity Farm, Ashurst

Starting on the 13th April, Longdown Activity Farm are hosting 10 days of Easter fun and Flower Pots in the company of cute chicks and beautiful bunnies. Their brand new Easter Barn makes for a delightful setting for kids to enjoy planting their very own Easter flower pots, which they can take home afterwards and see flourish. There is an extra fee for the flower pot planting, but as part of the day Langdown Activity Farm also advertises family-friendly Easter trails which are completely free-of-charge.

Canoe Easter Egg Hunts with New Forest Activities

13 April 2019 – 22 April 2019
This one is sure to be a hit with the whole family, especially if you’re feeling a little bit more adventurous. Take to the Beaulieu River for a guided paddle in a Canadian-style canoe, taking in the New Forest scenery along the way. This is followed by an Easter egg hunt on the riverside. All equipment is provided and there is a chocolate egg up for grabs for all in attendance, including grown-ups!

Bonnets Galore Easter Holidays

18 April 2019 – 22 April 2019
If you’re spending time at the New Forest, a visit to Beaulieu National Motor Museum is an absolute must at any time of the year. During the Easter weekend there will be a historic cavalcade of motoring history to enjoy. The display commences at 3:30PM each afternoon on the Beaulieu events arena. In addition to the sights and sounds of classic vehicles, visitors are invited inside Palace House to enjoy activities such as fancy dress in period costumes, Easter bonnets, crafts and cookery. 
There will also be a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the National Motor Museum. As well as a display of the well-known vintage racing, the theme will also be recognised in original costumes and props from the legendary film.

Easter Eggstravaganza! 

New Forest Heritage Centre, Lyndhurst

The Easter Eggstravaganza is a single-day workshop at the New Forest Heritage Centre perfect for children who enjoy arts and crafts. The day consists of six different Easter-related crafts and activities that will give participants something to take away from the experience. We recommend booking in advance to qualify for a discount and guarantee attendance at all of the six activities on offer.

National Trust Easter Trail 

21 April 2019
For the keen explorers looking for adventure over Easter, the Cadbury’s Eggstreme Easter Trail at Foxbury offers a packed day of outdoorsy activities. Rangers will guide a day of activity including den building, bushcraft, toasted marshmallows by the campfire and a BBQ.
