The Blue Pool Tea Rooms

With many original features from 1935, the Blue Pool Tea Rooms are a wonderful slice of nostalgia. Enjoy freshly baked scones, pastries and finger sandwiches on the terrace overlooking the Blue Pool, or if the weather is a little unpredictable then you’ll feel at home by the fireplace instead. With locally-sourced ingredients and a range of organic drinks, you’re more than welcome to bring your four-legged friend too – ideal if you’ve been on a hike in the area.

The Garden Café at Downhouse Farm

With views over Lyme Bay and Portland, The Garden Café is the ideal place to stop and relax if you’ve been on a Jurassic Coast hike. They describe their afternoon tea as “homemade, unpretentious and wholesome comfort food”.
